I fell in love with a beautiful D Kurd 11 from Pandragon made of Ember Steel and gave it a permanent home after a one-month loan period. I am self-taught using YouTube and by feel, guided by my intuition and what feels right at the moment. Especially free playing within a learned pattern is a lot of fun for me. I approach the instrument consciously with my heart and not my head; learning new things is just as important to me as meditating with the sound, breathing, and feeling.
